Ann Anderson

On the evening of December 27, 2020, just 34 days after the passing of her husband, Mrs. Willie Ann Anderson was reunited with her true love, Tootsie, while surrounded by family. She was 87 years old.

She was born on March 3, 1933 in Lewis County to the late Tommie and Bitha (Simmons) Bullion. Mrs. Ann was a lifelong member of Riverside Church of Christ.

She spent her time as a homemaker, taking care of her children and helping others. She was often found doing the ladies hair in her community and she loved to cook. She was described as a dedicated worker who tackled any task given to her. She enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, landscaping, and yard work in general. As she got older, Mrs. Ann enjoyed having her golf cart to help with the yard work. She also loved her log house and decorating it. Being surrounded by her family is what she cherished the most. A house full of grandchildren running around would brighten her day.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by her children, Barbara (Ray) Harris and Greg (Lisa) Anderson; grandchildren, Adam (Cammy) Harris, Leslie (Reggie) Smith, Emily (Shane) Fisher, Marissa (Will) Tidwell, Lauren (Ryan) Skelton, and Jared (Becky) Anderson; great grandchildren, Tabitha Black, Savannah Stocko, Elliott Harris, Piper Harris, Payden Skelton, Caden Anderson, Davin Skelton, Jansen Skelton, Cooper Tidwell, Bentlee Tidwell, Josh Smith, and Brandon Smith; great great grandchildren, Taylon Connie, Khaedix Turner, and Ethan Gowin; and her sister, Faye (Paul) Chandler.

Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Bullion.

Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 30 in the chapel of Adair Funeral and Cremation Services with Elloitt Hamm officiating. Burial followed in Banks Cemetery.
