Wayne County Youth Squirrel Hunt Registration Is Open

Registration is open for the Ashtin Grimes Memorial Youth Squirrel Hunt to be held in Wayne County on January 23, 2021. This is year number five for this annual event and it is open to youth 8-15 years of age.

The event kicks off at 6 a.m. with breakfast, where hunters will be paired with dog handlers and safety officers. Groups will caravan to predetermined hunting locations for a morning of squirrel hunting.

Lunch will be served at 11 a.m. and a few prizes will be awarded.
