Christine Shepard

Christine Bates Shepard, age 96 of Centerville, passed away January 8, 2021.

She was born on December 12, 1924 to the late Charlie and Lucille Graves Bates

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Stephens Shepard; brothers, J.R., J.T., and Haskell Bates; sisters, Lorene Mayberry and Charlene Cates.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Shepard Lester; granddaughter, Emily Lester, grandson, Evan (Ashley) Lester; sister, Mary Bryant of Hohenwald; and great-granddaughter, Madeline Lester.

Graveside service was held at 2:30 p.m. January 10, 2021 in the Milan Cemetery.

McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville assisted the family with arrangements.
