Planning Commission discuss new subdivision

The Planning Commission of Hohenwald, Tennessee met in regular session at 5:00 p.m., on February 1, 2021. John Risner was present and presiding with all members of the Planning Commission present except Don Barber.

Risner welcomed the visitors and called the meeting to order with a quorum present.

The minutes from January 2021 were presented. A motion to approve was made by Connie Sharp seconded by Steve Keeton, and unanimously carried to approve the minutes.

There was no citizen input from the audience.

Coy Norris, owner of 412 Building Supply, came before the Commission concerning a hopeful subdivision. Jim Lech gave the following recommendations for the subdivision: Each lot needs 50’ road frontage, every lot needs to be 7500 square feet, Irrevocable bond for road, Hydrology study, 2 lots need to be for public drainage. Motion to approve the recommendation was made by Ben Floyd, seconded by Sharp. Norris will present updated plans next month.

Building Inspector report was presented by Brad Rasbury. A motion to approve was made by Eddie DeNicolas, seconded by Floyd, and unanimously carried to approve the report.

There was no further business, and a motion was made by DeNicolas to adjourn which was seconded by Floyd. The meeting adjourned.
