Cat in the Hat came to LCES

Kindergarten students in Kara Farr's class celebrated reading during the annual "Read Across America" celebration at LCES.

The children enjoyed several guest readers via zoom including a visit from their Adopt-A-Class Partner, McDonald Funeral Home represented by Blake Farr, Funeral Director.

Blake, who also serves as a school board member and is the son of Mrs. Farr, read the famous Dr. Seuss book, "Oh the Places We Go." Jamie from Lewis County Library and school board member Paula Dyer also visited virtually to read to the class.
