Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
By Dorothy Warf
It seems that spring is here but I am sure that ol’man winter will once again rise up with some cold weather; it is too early for this weather to last. There are some who have started planting stuff in their gardens, guess if it is not planted it will not grow. I for one am ready for this weather to last and more flowers and shrubs to bloom. We have had some showers around the area lately and is forecasted for most of the week.

Remember that Wednesday is St Patrick’s Day so wear green if you don’t want someone to pinch you; many people like to do that and sometimes it is not funny they pinch too hard.
The school children are beginning to look forward to the spring break coming up the last of the month and guess many parents and teachers are also. Many people take vacations during this time when the family can all be together. It is always good to spend time with family and enjoy what you are doing.
Prayers for you and your family that you will be healthy and happy in the coming days and enjoy the wonderful world that God has created for us to enjoy and soon there will be many pretty blooms everywhere in the woods as the dogwoods and red buds will be in bloom.
