Christopher Barnes

On the evening of March 5, 2021, Christopher Nathaniel Barnes, 23, passed away suddenly in Lewis County. He was born in Nashville on June 27, 1997 to Elizabeth Marie Hudgins and the Michael E. Barnes.

Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Bonnie Hudgins, aunts Linda McConnell and Deborah Jean Hudgins; and uncles Roy Hudgins Jr. and Kenneth Ray Kephart.

Christopher enjoyed spending his time working his way to a win on computer games and catching a wrestling event. He was always there for those that needed him no matter what the request was.

Along with his mother, Chris leaves behind his sissy, Jennifer (George) Cornwell, Hohenwald; one brother, Stevie (Jennifer) Hudgins of Waverly; two aunts, Brenda Kay (Michael) Wix and Frances Jean Hudgins of Hohenwald; three uncles, James Hudgins and Jimmy (Tina) Hudgins of Hohenwald, and Bill (Dianne) Hudgins of Pulaski; two adopted sisters, Katie Rodgers Stone and Asley Rodgers; adopted mom Angie Rodgers; and a host of cousins and friends.

Visitation and funeral service was held in the Adair Funeral and Cremation Services chapel Thursday March 11, 2021. Brother Doug Graham officiated. Burial followed in the Napier Cemetery.
