Ruby Mae Cross

Ruby Mae Cross, age 80, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at her home in Hohenwald. Ms. Cross was born May 28, 1940 in Linden to the late Elijah and Pearl (Duncan) McCuiston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Cross; step-father, Claude Ward; brother, Richard McCuiston; sister, Roberta Shelton; and step-son Gregory Earl Cross.

She is survived by her daughter, Reba (Richard) Proctor; son, Jack (Tracy) Cross; three grandchildren, Danny Harrington, Jana Proctor, and Dennis Cross; four great-grandchildren, Savannah Duncan, Eva Duncan, Justin Smith and Gracie Smith.

Visitation and funeral services were held Thursday, March 11, 2021 in the McDonald Funeral Home chapel. Burial followed in Downey Cemetery.
