Molly Reasons, daughter of Larry and Michelle Reasons, is Lewis County High School 2020-21 valedictorian. She's a member of the Beta Club and a section leader in the Lewis County marching band. She plans to attend Freed-Hardeman University and major in English Education. Molly enjoys reading novels and writing in her free time. She's quite passionate about music, loves hanging out with her friends and attending youth group events at Lomax Church.
Salutatorian Kane Dillon is the son of Daniel and Wendy Dillon. He plans to attend UNA and pursue a bachelors of nursing then plans to enroll in an anesthesia program to become a CRNA. Kane is the HOSA President, MLEC essay winner, Boys State delegate, a member of the Beta Club and was honored by MTSU in the True Blue 100. He enjoys fishing, reading and spending time with family.
Maddox Cagle, son of Jeremy & Mickey James and Johnny Williams, ranked third. He plans to go to a four year university and major in computer engineering. However, if he got the chance to play baseball, he would love to do that. Then he wants to transfer to a four year university. He is a FBLA national competitor, a member of the student council: president, vice president and treasurer, varsity first baseman, school academic competitor, Boys State and yearbook ads sales manager. Maddox likes playing baseball, attending church and hanging out with friends and family.
Ranking fourth is Kasandra Marie Castro. She is the daughter of Douglas Castro and Denise Lee. She plans to attend The University of Tennessee at Knoxville to receive a bachelors degree in nursing and continue to become a pediatric nurse. Kasanadra is a member of Tennessee 4-H Honors Club, Sergeant at Arms of FBLA, Editorial Manager of LCHS yearbook, 2nd in Business Calculations for FBLA, 1st in Mass Communications at Columbia State Academic Competition, a member of the Beta Club, TNStrong Ambassador and President of the Writing Club. She enjoys cooking; baking; collecting records, books and movies; and reading.
Aaron Hunter ranked fifth for LCHS. He is the son of Chris and Angie Hunter. Aaron plans to attend Freed-Hardeman University in the fall to major in Biology. He is active in his church and is a member of the Beta Club. He enjoys camping, spending time outdoors and spending time with family.
Bradley Nickell, son of Kevin and Colleen Nickell, ranked sixth. He plans to attend Columbia State Community College to major in Psychology. He plays the saxophone for the Lewis County High School marching band and concert band, plays basketball for the Panthers and is a member of the Beta Club.
Ranking seventh is Karli Bennett, daughter of Tim Bennett and Rhonda Burns. She plans to attend The University of Tennessee at Knoxville under the University Exploratory Track. She has been the FBLA Vice President from 2018-2020 and the President from 2020-2021, Girls State Alternate and LCHS yearbook organizational manager. In her limited free time, Karli enjoys taking on photography jobs and spending time with family and friends.
Emma Hinson, daughter of Jared and Cristi Hinson, ranked eighth. Her plans are to attend The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and major in biology pre-professional and minor in Spanish. She is a member of the Beta Club, received the Provost's Scholarship and is captain of the volleyball team. Emma likes volleyball, being a basketball cheerleader, tennis, club volleyball, FFA and HOSA.
Jayden Hinson, daughter of B.T. Hinson and Billy and Robin Keeton, ranked ninth. She plans to attend The University of Tennessee at Martin in hopes of becoming a teacher. She was awarded All District and All Tournament in basketball, she is the captain of the basketball team and football cheerleaders, she is a member of the Beta Club and has been awarded the Excellence Scholarship from UT Martin and has been a member of the Lewis County Lady Panthers basketball team and a football cheerleader for the past four years. Jayden like to spend time with family and friends in her free time.
Finishing out the top ten is Morgan Bailey, ranking tenth. She is the daughter of David and Melody Bailey. She plans to go to school to become a dental hygienist. She is a member of the Beta Club, TNStrong, a member of the yearbook staff and Vice President of FBLA. Morgan enjoys drawing, painting, taking care of her little brother and hanging out with friends and family.
