Robert Hannig

1968 - 2021

On May 20,2021 Mr. Robert Charles Hannig 52 of Linden unexpectedly passed away after succumbing to injuries from a motorcycle accident. He was born in Chicago, IL on November 29,1968 to the late Charles Robert and Donna Suzanne (Neft) Hannig.

He enjoyed showing his artistic abilities when he owned and operated his own tattoo shop. Many people today are a walking memorial of his talent from Alabama to Illinois and here in Tennessee. His family will always have a piece of his work to cherish since he was able to display his amazing talent in each of the Hannig tattoos. He had a passion for motorcycles and would often head out on a ride while listening to his favorite band Clutch.

Most that knew Robert knew how self-sufficient of a man he was. He enjoyed the simple things in life and was seen as an off-gridder not relying on certain things to maintain his way of life he enjoyed. Being a homesteader came naturally for him.

Mr. Hannig is survived by: his children: Harley D’Vitto-Lucian and Hayden Jade, Kelly Getts (Randy Herrick), Tammi Guarducci (Tony King), Sarah (Danny) Richmond, Jake Sanders (Kayleigh Underwood), and Jordan Sanders (Heather Myers); his significant other, Ann Sanders; siblings, Daniel (Holly) Hannig and Randy Hannig; nephews, Matthew and Michael; nieces, Jess and Mollie; 19 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.; and his English mastiff fur baby Ruby Jane.

The family will be planning a celebration of life memorial later at the homestead of Mr. Hannig. The family would like to express how important it is to always be aware of motorcycles and to “look twice to save a life”.

Adair Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
