One Day At A Time

Well it is a hot and humid day here in our little valley. The sky is getting dark and I can hear thunder off in the distance. I am enjoying a cold glass of sweet tea, sitting here in the swing on my front porch.

I was thinking back to when we were young. We had a storm cellar and when it began to thunder and the clouds would get dark, we would go to the storm cellar, it was basically just a hole dug into the hill at the back of our house.
