Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
You can still go Hohen-wild at the Lewis County Public Library and Archives this summer with the interactive window display! Become a deer, octopus, bunny, eagle, or butterfly or get caught in the spider's web. The windows were hand-painted by staff member Laura Taylor and enjoyed by so many this summer. Feel free to come to the library to take your picture where you become the fantastic tail!
Before the rains kept washing it away, the sidewalks became a sensory adventure. Visitors of all ages played hopscotch, crowed like roosters, stomped like elephants and many other, often hilarious, animal activities. The sensory walk gave wiggly program attendees a chance to get their wiggles and giggles out before enjoying the summer reading activities. Everyone just wished the rains had been a little less persistent the latter half of the summer.
