MLEC announces candidates for Board of Directors

Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative holds district membership meetings each October to elect members to serve on its Board of Directors. Today, it announced the names of those who filed the necessary paperwork to be considered as a candidate for a 4-year term by the July 15 deadline.

District I Hickman County – David Wayne Qualls, unopposed

District II Lewis County – Incumbent Bill Webb and Travis Ray Hinson

District IV Humphreys County –Incumbent Larry Mayberry and Crystal Daniel

District V Houston County – Raymond Fussell, Sr., unopposed

Membership meetings, which will include a report from the cooperative, door prizes, and poster contest winner announcements, are tentatively scheduled to be held at local high schools in each county. Dates will be announced later, and current COVID guidelines will be considered.
