The Lewis County Public Library and Archives invites you to pay tribute to someone special in your life by making a meaningful donation to the library in his or her name. Your gift is the perfect way to remember the achievement, birthday, anniversary, or life of a loved one. By giving to the library, your gift can be shared and enjoyed by others in the community. The following memorials were recently made to the library:
Paul Bridges: “The Thunderbirds: the United States Air Force’s flight demonstration team, 1953 to the present” given by Calvin Mayberry.
Fred Cogdill: “Nose Art: an Illustrated History from World War I to the Present” given by Calvin Mayberry.
William Gay: a donation was made to the library expansion fund by Justin and Kathryn Griner.
Deborah A. Keltner: a donation was made to the library expansion fund by the South Central Workforce Development District.
Tony Kozlinski: donations were made to the library expansion fund by Rosey Depriest and Tiffany Qualls, Johnia Elkins, Joe and Patsy Griner, the Lewis County Library Board and staff, Phyllis Sharp and Cissy Riley, Lindsey and Jane Wayland. A technology donation was also made in memoriam by Pat Barnett.
Jane Lawson: a donation was made to the library expansion fund by Phyllis Sharp, Nancy Fay Kidd, and Cissy Riley.
Betty Ann McLean: a donation was made to the library expansion fund by Charlotte Banks.
Bill Pulliam: a donation was made to the library expansion fund by Peggy Anderson.
R. K. Roney, Jr. and Elvin and Willodean Staggs: “Murder Takes a Hike,” “Murder is a Beach Bummer,” and “Murder Behind the 8 Ball” given by Billie Roney.
Fate Houston Sharp and Earlene Treadwell Sharp Tidwell: a donation was made to the library expansion fund by Joe and Patsy Griner.
Ronnie Taylor: a donation was made to the library expansion fund by Bonnie and Laura Taylor.
David Whitehead: “The Last Days of John Lennon” given by the LCHS Class of 1967.
