MaryAnn Turnbow

MaryAnn Takacs Turnbow, age 78, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021, in her home surrounded by family in Hohenwald.

MaryAnn was born to the late Louis and Mary Banko Takacs on October 9, 1942, in New Jersey.

MaryAnn was the definition of a strong, hardworking, Hungarian woman. She loved to crochet works of art, was an amazing cook of numerous delicious meals, but more than anything she loved her family dearly. Her family was the biggest fulfillment of her life. She enjoyed watching her children raise her grandchildren and those grandchildren raise her great-grandchildren. They are truly her proudest accomplishment. Just as much as she loves her human family, she has just as much love for her furry children of all different walks of life. She will be deeply missed by all the lives she touched.

MaryAnn is survived by her children, Gerald George Howarth Jr., Debbie Howarth, Barbie Hensley, and Pamela Fryer; grandchildren, Tim Tanner, K.C. Akins, Nick Howarth, Ryan Curry, Jake Curry, R.J. Curry, and Keagan Curry; great-grandchildren, Skyler, Kayden, Pixi, Jennifer, Trinity, A.J., Blue, Anna, Timmy, Oaklee, Bradley, Dominic, Naomi, and a little one on the way; siblings, Barbara Lefebvre and Ken Takacs; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

MaryAnn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A Celebration of Life for MaryAnn will be held August 21 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the High Forest Room at Memorial Park.

Williams Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Condolences can be given to the family by visiting http://www.williamsfh.com.
