Students participate in 4-H State Congress

Two students recently visited the Capitol of Tennessee and participated in the 4-H Congress event on August 15, 2021.

Alle Rae Carroll and Mercie Ashmore were selected to attend a highly educational event where they studied current bills that are being debated by our Congressional delegates in Tennessee.

The girls toured the Capitol and participated in various "mock voting" sessions which allowed them to present their beliefs and values on current debates and demonstrate persuasive reasoning on each one with hundreds of students across the state. They also visited with various leaders, donors,...
