Lady Panthers vs S'town

The Lewis County High School Lady Panthers volleyball team travelled to Summertown on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 for their first road match of the season against the Lady Eagles.

The Lady Eagles took control of the first set of play in the varsity match and pulled away to a convincing 25-8 win. The Lady Panther began to show improvement in the second set, but it was again the dominant play of the host team that sealed the second, this time 25-16. The Lady Eagles would complete the sweep in the third and final set, coming away with a 25-10 third set win to take the match 3-0. Cabry Hill had 15 hits and 3 digs, Mya Siever 8 hits, Madasyn Durham 6 hits and 4 digs, Serenity Warman 5 hits and 2 digs, Aly Stutts 3 hits and an ace, Isabel Greve 2 hits, 3 digs, and an ace, and Presly Hill an ace and a dig.

In the junior varsity match the Lady Eagles JV came out strong against the Lady Panthers junior varsity, piling on point runs early on the way to a 25-5 win of the first set. The second and final set of junior varsity play saw the Lady Panthers fall behind early again and the Lady Eagles sealed the win 25-7, taking the junior varsity match 2-0. Mayce Collins had 3 hits, an ace, and a dig, Allee Carroll had 3 digs, Keira Halbrooks 2 hits, Presly Hill 1 hit, and Maddie Crowell 1 hit.
