LCHS Golf host Summertown, Loretto

The Lewis County High School Panthers golf team hosted a match at Hohenwald Municipal Golf Course on Thursday, August 26, 2021 with Summertown and Loretto.

In the boys’ match Summertown edged out Lewis County 164 to 167 to take first, and Loretto finished third with a 210. Lewis County’s Andon Lowery had another strong showing again firing the low score and finishing as low-medalist as he tied with Summertown’s Cole Campbell with a 35. Brody Whitlow and Brayden Whitlow each shot a 42, Mason Owen a 48, Kerry Reynolds a 54, and Braxton Clark a 63.

Summertown’s girls took first in the girls’ match, carding the low team score of 65, Lewis County was second with a 99, and Loretto was third with a 111. Karlie Campbell of Summertown was low-medalist with a 31. Lewis County’s Abby Carroll shot a 45, Emma Tinnon a 54, and Jaden Harris a 59.
