Willie Sparkman

Brother Willie Frank Kittrell Sparkman was born May 30, 1949 in Hampshire to the late Richard Gibson Sparkman and Susie Mae Smith Sparkman. He entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 2, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Willie professed a hope in Christ and united with Hampshire United Baptist Church. He loved fishing and hunting and watching western movies. He was a former employer of the City of Hohenwald and Columbia State Community College where he retired.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Jayzen Sparkman; granddaughter, Tibria Sparkman; brothers, Willie Lee Sparkman, Benjamin Sparkman, Harry Sparkman, and Richard Sparkman; and sisters, Lena Smith and Jennie Mae Johnson.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving children, Frank K. (Keisha) Sparkman Jr. and Beverly (Aubrey) Sparkman-Amos; granddaughters, Reagan, Aldaishawia and Gabbie; grandsons, Trezden, Chaz, Pryce, Dom'nic, Kash, King, and Luca; brothers, James Sparkman, Bobby (Jackie) Sparkman, Jessie Sparkman, Charlie (Tammy) Sparkman, Ulysses (Eula C) Sparkman, and Lewis Sparkman; sisters, Bertha Sparkman, Linda Sparkman, Penny Sparkman, and Katherine (Jerry) Holt; sister-in-law, Theresa Smith; mother of his children, Diane Sparkman; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held Friday, September 10, 2021 at Ohio Field Cemetery in Hampshire with Paster Yvonne Ogilvie Gilbreath officiating.

Pallbearers were Richie Sparkman, Jeffrey Sparkman, John Odom, William Odom, Anthony Sparkman, and Nicolas Sparkman.
