Emergency Planning Commission Meeting Held

An Emergency City of Hohenwald Planning Commission meeting was held on Thursday, September 16, 2021, to approve building plans for the future convenience store on 108 Dabbs Street.

The building plans included the location of the store’s gas pumps, awnings, and entrances and exits in the building. Business owner David Bailey was present for the meeting. City of Hohenwald’s Building/Codes Inspector Brad Rasbury said that the state had already approved the plans, but before the building could move forward, the local governing body also had to approve Bailey’s plans.

The plans were unanimously approved and the construction of the new business continued.
