LCHS Golf

The Lewis County High School Panthers golf team participated in the District 10 A/AA golf tournament at Lawrenceburg Golf and Country Club on Monday, September 20, 2021. The Panthers faced teams from East Hickman, Fairview, Hampshire, Hickman County, Loretto, Perry County, and Summertown.

In the boys’ tournament match it was the team from Summertown that took the district crown, carding a team-total of 310 for the tournament. Hickman County finished second with a 366, Perry County was third at 373, Hampshire was fourth with a 387, Lewis County finished fifth with a 390, Fairview finished sixth with a score of 452, Loretto was seventh at 455, and East Hickman was eighth at 493. Cole Campbell of Summertown brough in the low score on the day in the boys’ match and was low-medalist with a 70. Andon Lowery carded the low score from Lewis County, finishing the tournament with an 82. Brayden Whitlow finished the day with an 88, Brody Whitlow had a 98, and Mason Owen a 122. Andon Lowery, Brayden Whitlow, and Brody Whitlow each qualified for the regional tournament.

In the girls’ tournament the Summertown girls won the district, finishing the tournament with a team score of 145, Perry County was second with a 183, Hickman County was third with a 202, Lewis County was fourth with a 208, East Hickman fifth at 232, and Loretto sixth at 245. Karlie Campbell of Summertown finished the day with a 66, good enough for tournament low-medalist. Lewis County’s Abby Carroll finished with a 98, Jayden Harris finished the day with a 110, and Emma Tinnon finished with a 125. Abby Carroll and Jayden Harris both qualified for the regional tournament.

Lewis County will send 5 golfers to the regional tournament at Henry Horton State Park on Monday, September 27.
