National Friends of the Library dedicates the third week of October each year to promote Friends groups across the country for their support of local libraries. County Mayor Jonah Keltner and City Mayor Danny McKnight have formally proclaimed October 17 through October 23 as Friends of the Library week in Hohenwald.
