Geneva Rader, 86, of Hohenwald peacefully passed away at her home on October 9, 2021, surrounded by family. She was born in Memphis on March 25, 1935 to the late Buford Legaltender and Maudine Beatrice Glover.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Willcutt; her daughter, Patricia Murphy; granddaughter, Savannah Brown; and brothers, Bart Glover, Charles Glover, Bobby Glover, Gerald Glover, and George Coleman.
Rader is survived by her children, Glenda Jo Hargrove, Peggy Diane Hall, and James Edward Willcutt Jr.; a brother, Johnny Glover; grandchildren, Tanya Harris, David Willcutt, Angel Hargrave, Amber Anthony, Briana Hall, Teddy Wayne Hankins, Michele Harper, and Terri Harper.
She also leaves behind to cherish her memory her great-grandchildren, Hailee Prosser, Brock Hankins, Logan Hankins, Faith Hankins, B.J. Hargrove, Christopher Hargrove, Dylan Harris, Alie Willcutt, Bria Willcutt, Eli Bunch, and Anlee Anthony; and 14 great-great grandchildren.
Geneva enjoyed anything that kept her moving. She loved being outside in her garden tending to her flowers. When she did take a moment to relax it was usually in front of the sewing machine where she enjoyed sewing, embroidery, and quilting. Time with her family was spent around the table putting together the latest puzzle.
Visitation with family and friends will be held Thursday October 14, 2021, in the chapel of Adair Funeral & Cremation Services from 10:00-12:00. A graveside service will follow visitation at 12:30 p.m. at Skelton Cemetery in Hohenwald.
