Brenda Rhodes

April 2, 1948 - October 4, 2021

Brenda Joyce Rhodes, age 73, of Hohenwald, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021, at her home. She was born on April 2, 1948, to Dalton and Mary (Greene) Talley.

From 1984 until 1992 she worked in the inmate files office at Turney Center while also taking courses through Austin Peay State University.

Ms. Rhodes is survived by her daughter, Angie (Danny) Primm; sisters, Betty Harrington Avery and Shirley Clayborn; grandchildren, Brooke Rogers, Macy Truett, Brittany Stinson, Bethany Stinson, and Skylar Stinson; six great-grandchildren, and her beloved dog Harold V.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elen Rhodes; daughter, Donna Stinson; sister, Wanda Talley Harrington; ex-husband, Dorris Jenkins; and fur baby, Bud.

There are no services currently planned as it was Ms. Brenda’s wishes to be cremated and her ashes be buried with her husband, Elen, at Downey Cemetery.
