Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
May 12, 1960 ~ October 15, 2021
Ronnie L. Frazier, 61, passed away after a hard battle with cancer on October 15, 2021, at his farm. He was born May 12, 1960, in Lewis County, the son of Guy Boyd and Julia Mae (Whitehead) Frazier.
Ronnie worked at Bates for years. He made a living farming. He broke wild mustangs and horses. He also trained some of the best hunting dogs for coon, rabbit, and squirrel hunting. He knew how to barter and trade and would always make a way to provide for his loved ones. He could work a fine pair of mules in the logging woods back in his day as well.
Ronnie was well known in his community. He would stop and talk to just about anybody when he was able and would lend a hand where needed if he could. Ronnie was a member of the old Lewis County Saddle Club and would compete in the horse shows. He also held a spot many times for the UKC world coon hunt. He loved to sit on a tailgate and listen to his dogs sing in the holler. Ronnie's daughters and grandkids were his pride and joy. He loved to spend time with them every chance he got. Ronnie was always happy to be with his friends and family as well.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory longtime companion Debbie Bunch; his children, Vanessa Smotherman, Sheena Frazier (Alizabeth Hope Cantrell), Alexis Frazier (Morgan Hooks), (Chad Lovely) (Colton Carroll) and Desiree Frazier; grandchildren, Tristan, Zae, Bree and Kade Frazier; his extended children, daughters, Christin "Sisser" Duncan (Adam Melton) and Kortney Baker (Fabian Cotham); and son, Darren "Punky" Duncan; his extended grandchildren, Brody Hinson, and Memphis, Zepplynn, and Cashlynn Duncan; brothers, Donnie Frazier and Jerry Frazier; sisters, Sandra Deal, Dorothy Christy and Maxine Holt; and many nieces and nephews.
