Della Ruth Nestor

Mrs. Della Ruth Nestor, born August 13, 1931 to the late Joseph Durham and Mattie Ament in Hohenwald, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at the age of 89.

She is survived by her four sons, Larry (Rita Joy) Rawdon of Florence, Alabama, Mike Rawdon of Hohenwald, John (Vicky) Rawdon of Hohenwald and Paul (Tresa) Rawdon of Hohenwald, 13 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mattie Durham; husband, Charles Nestor; daughter-in-law, Lisa Rawdon and 22 brothers and sisters.

Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, August 5th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 6 beginning at 11:00 a.m. with her son John Rawdon and Thomas Vann officiating.

Burial will follow in the Davis Oak Grove Cemetery.
