Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
Although it has been very cold with temperatures close to the single digits at night and sometimes not out of the twenties during the day, there is no more snow as of today. It seems we are having some unusual weather for our area the last couple of months. It gets warm like spring or summer and then cold like winter but always keeps you guessing as to what to wear. It’s deciding whether you need a coat or jacket or an umbrella and if you are going anywhere for all day you may even need more clothes to add to what you have on.

Prayers for all those who have lost loved ones - Judy Leila Lemoine, Olhen “Danny” Elkins, Hilda Ann Hankins, and James Floyd Powell. Prayers for all these families and any others that we may not know about.
With the snow and children being out of school so much we have spent time together as a family and worked puzzles. We have always enjoyed doing this and some of the puzzles have proven to be quite challenging. Of course, we have food when we get together. I made spaghetti one day and took to Jeanea’s so we could share a meal together. Then on Sunday I made bar-b-que and mac-n-cheese which is always a hit with the children. Love it when we can spend time together - it seems our world is so fast paced that too many times we don’t take time to gather together and spend quality time together.
Most of the children are back in school now except for some who have covid or have been in contact with someone who has it. It seems that there are many who have this now and we pray that it will soon be better and those affected will be better and able to return to their normal routine.
Prayers for you and your family to be blessed with health and happiness and that you may be able to spend time with those that you love. It has been a hard time because of covid when people are quarantined from friends and family. We pray that it will soon be much better. Remember those who are shut-in and visit if you can or send a card or a phone call to show that you care.
