James Walker

On November 15, 2021, James (Jim) Author Walker peacefully passed away at the age of 81. Jim was born in Adairville, Kentucky on October 14, 1940, to the late Douglas and Lula Law Walker. Mr. Walker was also preceded in death by his sisters, Peggy Miller and Alice Berkley.

On March 29, 1997, he married Donna Harris and the two were members of First Baptist Church in Hohenwald. Mr. Walker was an electrician for IBEW Union for 43 years before retiring. In his quiet time, he enjoyed creating masterpieces from wood. His never stopping projects included painting, wood carving and chainsaw carvings. He always had something in the works.

Jim leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Donna Harris Walker; daughter, Donya (Scott) Talley; grandson, Jonathon (Amanda) Berry; and great-grandchildren, Addy Berry and Emmy Berry. He also is survived by special cousins, Steve and Julie Grubbs, George Grubbs, and Serena House.

A celebration of life memorial was held January 15, 2022, in the chapel of Adair Funeral and Cremation Services with Bro. Mark Webb officiating.
