Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
Beginning a new month and the weather has been really cold land lots of rain and even some black ice last Friday morning but it soon cleared up and was just a very cold day. The children were out of school for the day and I know they enjoyed that. The nights for the most part have been in the teens and some days not above thirty, but the weekend was better with temperatures in the lower fifties; that is not really warm but lots better than in the thirties. If you are out in the early morning it looks pretty because the frost freezes on the trees, weeds and bushes making it shine like stars.

I for one am ready for the warmer days of spring and also warmer nights, this cold weather is not for the older and those who have problems getting around. I think it would be nice to have some warmer evening so that the children could enjoy bonfires and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. I guess we will take what we get for if we could have what we want someone else would want something different and we would have a mixed-up mess for weather.
Prayers for you and your family and hope you have good days blessed with happiness and health. Remember to pray for those who are confined to their homes or nursing facilities if you can’t visit then send a card or make a phone call to them. When you are home alone for any reason it gets lonely, and some kind acts makes the days more bearable and also lets you know someone cares for you.
