Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
It is beginning to look like the groundhog was right for we have been having some very cold weather and I guess we will be looking at having a late spring. We have had a few days with temperatures in the sixties and low seventies, but not very many, and the nights even those days have been in the teens or low twenties. The buttercups continue to brave the weather and I have several blooming and along the roadway I have seen many others blooming.

The Girl Scouts are selling cookies and if you have not gotten any and would like some, please contact any Girl Scout or leader or myself. We appreciate all those who came out on the days we were doing booth sales when it was so cold and windy; the girls did a great job and had good sales. The people of Lewis County are always good to help with our sales events and this helps the troops be able to do the things that they love to do together as a group. There are even some groups that go to Savannah which is the home of the Girl Scout founder.
Praying for you and your family to have a great week and enjoy happiness and health which makes life easier and better for everyone. Remember those who are shut-in and visit if you can or send a card or make a phone call. This always makes them feel better and lets them know that someone cares for them.
