Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
We had another little skiff of snow one morning this past week but didn’t last long and wasn’t on the roads so that was a good thing. We have still been having temperatures in the low twenties and upper teens a lot of mornings and then sometimes not above fifty during the day. There have been some birds around that have been gone all winter and I think they may have gotten mixed up for it is not warm enough for them to be back in the area yet. I guess they will be able to find enough to eat until it warms up and also, I have seen several small squirrels along the road that look like babies, so I think they also came along too early. I am looking forward to spring and hopefully it will not be too much longer coming.

During this time of such turmoil in our nation let us remember to pray for all those who are being deployed to places where they face danger from those who don’t even know what freedom is about. We need to pray for our nation that somehow, we will find a way back to believing in God who created us and provides us with so many blessings each day of our lives. We in this nation are so blessed that sometimes we tend to take for granted many of the blessings we have each day.
Prayers for your family that you may enjoy health and happiness in your life; take time to remember those who are sick and especially those who are shut-in and visit if you can or send a card or make a phone call to them. They will at least know that someone cares for them. We are almost to the end of the second month of this year and time sure seems to fly be. Take care and do something good for those around you.
