Marion Roberta (Coltart) Antal, age 90 of Hohenwald, formerly of Wyandotte, Michigan, passed away on February 17, 2022, at AHC Lewis County.
Marion was born on March 11, 1930, in Nappan, New Brunswick, Canada, to Merle and Isabel (Lockerbie) Coltart and graduated from Roosevelt High School in Wyandotte, Michigan.
Marion was married to her best friend and the love of her life, Louis Antal, from 1955 until his passing in 2007. She retired as a vice-president at Security Bank and Trust in 1989 after a 38-year career in banking.
Mrs. Antal enjoyed traveling but her accomplished ability and hobby of knitting and crocheting resulted in hundreds of caps she made each year that she donated to the Lomax Church of Christ for the needy.
Along with her parents and husband, Marion was preceded in death by her sister, Winona Jasinski, her nephew, John Jasinski, and her niece and the daughter of her heart, Marian Yates.
She is survived by her nephews, Frank Jasinski of Wyandotte, MI, Jerry Yates and Michael Yates of Hohenwald; great nephews, Chris Jasinski, John Jasinski, Kevin Jasinski, and Joe Jasinski; and brother-in-law, Elmer Antal and his children of Michigan.
Graveside services were held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, in the Grinders Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Antal was laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Grinders Creek.
McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. assisted the family with arrangements.
