William "Bill" Lee Corter

April 7, 1949 - February 24, 2022

Bill Corter of Murfreesboro, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at the age of 72. Bill was born on April 7, 1949, to Thomas Corter and Bessie Skelton in Hohenwald. He married Cindy Clay and they enjoyed many years together. Bill worked in maintenance at Heritage Farms in Murfreesboro. He and Cindy were members of the East Main Church of Christ.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his son, Chris (Heather) Gordon of Murfreesboro; his daughter, Ashlee Corter of Murfreesboro; and his grandchildren, Christian Aldrich, Robin (Kevin) Reardon, Andrew Aldrich, Kaylee (Jordan) Aldrich, Jackson Gordon, and C.J. Gordon. His parents preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 28 in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Downey Cemetery.
