Joshua Kayo Phillips

May 13, 1982 ~ April 7, 2022

Joshua Kayo Phillips unexpectedly passed away on April 7, 2022, at his Hohenwald home at the age of 39. Josh was born in Maury County to Maria Rose Phillips and the late Kayo Phillips on May 13, 1982.

Anyone who knew him knew he had a very sweet, giving, loving heart. He was a loving son, father, and brother. In his quiet time, he would produce beautiful pieces of work with his drawings or strum his guitar while listening to his favorite bands. Recently he began teaching his children how to play a variety of musical instruments in hopes they too would love music as much as he did.

Along with his mother, Joshua is survived by significant other, April Calvert; his children, Hayden, Zachary, and Harper Phillips; his sisters, Kristin Phillips, Bessie Churchwell, Kayce Phillips, and Kayla Thompson; and his stepmom, Gina Phillips.

Funeral services were held in the chapel of Adair Funeral and Cremation Services on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, with Brother Tim Cotham officiating with burial following in the Graves Cemetery.
