Karl Robert Ensor Jr.

Karl Robert Ensor Jr., of Hohenwald, died peacefully at Maury Regional in Columbia, on April 5, 2022 at the age of 76.

Karl was born on October 21, 1946, in Peoria, Illinois to Karl Robert Ensor Sr. and Bertie Mae Harris. He served in the US Army and was married several times throughout his life.

Karl is survived by his children, Michael Ensor of East Peoria, IL, Lynn Osborne of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Kathy Bryant of East Peoria, Karl Ensor Ill of East Peoria, Dominic Ensor of East Peoria, and Austin Ensor of Farmington, Illinois; several grandchildren and great-­grandchildren; siblings, Kenneth (Anne) Ensor of Mossville, Illinois, Barbara Serpette, Linda Kindred-White and Carol (William) Adams of Peoria, Illinois, Kalvin (Marty-Jo) Ensor of Summertown, Edward Diefendorf of Pekin, Illinois, and Dan Diefendorf of Peoria Heights Illinois.

He was preceded in death by both parents; one brother, John Allison; one sister, Ethel Brandt; one stepbrother, Clinton Chambers; and one step-sister, Rose Etta Lowery.

Cremation rights have been accorded. A memorial service was held Friday April 8, at Highland Baptist Church, Hohenwald, with a reception following at the church. Sam Livingston officiated the ceremony.
