The Lewis County Quarterly Court passed a resolution to endorse V. A. Brownlow for re-nomination to a second term as Floterial Representative for the 17th Floterial District.

The National Park Service announced that roads in Meriwether Lewis National Monument would be closed to the public for a few days to allow for the resealing of the roads.

The American Legion junior baseball team were scheduled to make their debut appearance on May 17 at Memorial Park where they would play against Parsons.
