Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
I guess you could say Summer is officially here although not yet the calendar date. But with temperatures in the daytime above ninety degrees and even not cooler than the seventies at night, that is summertime temperatures. I guess you could say also that it would be a good time to be in the waters somewhere in Tennessee. The creeks around the area are a great place to cool off because the water is cold most of the time because there are so many springs that feed the waters.
Those I know of who are sick either at home, nursing facilities or in the hospitals are: Terry Anderson, Connie Bonner, L.C. Bowen, Kathleen Carroll, Spencer Clark, Fada Clay, Bailey Cromwell, Buffy Farnsworth, Calvin Harris, Cruz Henderson, Labri Kendricks, Martha Hensley, Lyda Mae Hooper, Shirley Howe, Monette King, Ronnie Lewis, Colben Ly, Raquel Mallari, Brittany Mash, Linda Mercer, Greg McCann, Mike McCann, Howard Miller, Jackie McFall, Betty Odom, Donna Owen, Pam Pullman, Colene Rasbury, Mona Runions, Tyler Seiber, Roy Sharp, Joe Shipp, Vickie Skelton, Nell Skelton, Howard Tripp, Jim Walker, and Annette Williams. Please pray for these in your daily prayers that they might be better and for any others that need prayers. Let us remember those in areas where there are wars and daily fear for themselves and their families.

Prayers for all those who have lost loved ones this past week. Those I know of include Billy Dwight Duncan, David Shannon Dougby, Mary Katherine “Kat” Clayton Roberson, Bennett James Schmid, and Patsy Gayle Sims. Prayers for all these families and any others about which we may not know.
The Lewis County Historical Society had a great June meeting on the eighth at The Farm in Summertown. The program was great and very informational for all who attended. There is a market day on the third Saturday of each month, and anyone can visit. I am sure there are lots of homegrown vegetables along with many other wares for sale. If you would like to join the group and attend the meetings just contact any member and they can help you get acquainted with the group and let you know when the next meeting will be. We will not meet in July because it will be the fourth holiday.
Prayers for all those who are taking vacation trips during the summer. Hopefully you will enjoy the trip and return home safely. I guess you could say summer vacation for the children is about half over by the end of this month.
Praying that your family will have a great week and that you will be blessed with happiness and health.
