The Lewis County Middle School Panther and Lady Panther golf teams hosted a match at Hohenwald Municipal on Monday, September 12th with Linden Middle and Lobelville Middle.

In boys’ team play the Panthers finished the day in first with a team total score of 183, Linden trailed by only two strokes at 185 and in second place, and Lobelville finished in third place with a 215. Nolan Whitehead finished with the low score for Lewis County carding a 43, River Carroll finished with a 44, Bo Banks had a 45, Ryder Ward finished at 51, and Blayne Pinckley had a 62.

In girls’ team play the Lady Panthers finished play with a 113 and in first place ahead of Lobelville in second place with a team score of 132. Linley Harris finished her round with a score of 56 Kayclyn “Tiger” Williams ended her round with a 57, and Anna Kate Jones had a 62.

The team hosted a match at Hohenwald Municipal on Wednesday, September 7th with Wayne County and Santa Fe.

In boys’ play it was the team from Wayne County that brought in the low score in team play, carding a team total of 87 for first place. Lewis County ended play with a team score of 105 and in second place. Sanat Fe came in third on the day with a score of 148. Ryder Ward finished his day as the low score for Lewis County, finishing with a 25. Nolan Whitehead and Bo Banks each had a 26, River Carroll had a 28, and Blayne Pinckley had a 37.

On the girls’ side Lewis County finished in first with a 51, nine strokes better than the second-place team from Santa Fe who finished with a 60 Linley Harris led Lewis County and was the low-medalist in girls’ play with a 23. Kayclyn “Tiger” Williams finished with a 28, and Anna Kate Jones had a 29.
