Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
Lewis County Public Library and Archives enjoyed a preschool storytime guest reader from the DAR during Constitution Week on Tuesday, September 20, 2002. Kitty Thomas, left, introduced the young attendees to the Constitution and George Washington. Everyone made "Uncle Sam" puppets and had the opportunity to take a pocket Constitution home as well. Preschool story time is held each Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the library and archives. Each educational session lasts approximately 30 minutes and is designed to teach pre-literacy skills while promoting the love of books and reading.
