It’s that time again folks for the October Heritage Festival and it’s scheduled for October 7 and 8, 2022 in downtown Hohenwald.
Here is a list of family fun for everyone to enjoy! Friday will begin at 10:00 a.m. with street vendors, a food court and Linda Malone with Inflata-world kids corner.
The opening ceremony will begin at 1:00 p.m, with June Defoe serving as Burgermeister. History and Heritage recipient Patty Choate will also be recognized.
Sonny Holley will be introducing us to a great lineup of music all afternoon and the music and fun will spill on over into the night downtown.
Saturday morning is starting early with a pancake breakfast being held from 6:30-10:00 a.m.
The fourth annual Lewis County Cancer Victims Fund Car and Truck Show will be held Saturday, from 8:00-12:00 at the Lewis County Courthouse Lawn, located at 110 Park Avenue North.
The Big Rig Show will also be held Saturday beginning at 8:00 in the morning on Court Street, in between the Courthouse and Powers Foodtown.
Archery Tag will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Don’t forget to mosey on over to Summertown Highway (or avoid it if you’re looking to travel to Lawrenceburg) as there will be miles and miles of yard sales.
