We are having our first taste of winter temperatures and with some rain in the mix the leaves are falling really fast. It is supposed to be really cold for the next few days at least compared to the temperatures we have been having but this is not supposed to last very long. Like many others some were busy yesterday trying to get winter coats and jackets out for the little ones to wear to school and other places during the cold days we are scheduled to have, and adults alike have looked for warmer outer wear. Remember layering clothes is the way to go for you can remove some if you get too hot but if you do not have it with you or on you may get cold and the season for colds is here.

The children are all getting excited about the upcoming Halloween time, trying to decide what character to be for the parties that will be going on during the season. If you take your children trick or treating please be extremely careful of the goodies they gather as they go about having fun for many people are out there who do not care for the doings and may try to harm the little ones so check their gatherings very carefully.

There was many who gathered at Pineview annex for a fish fry on Saturday evening and there was also some frog legs and chicken along with many sides and the dessert table was full of delicious items. Those gathered had a feast and enjoyed the fellowship that accompanies any gathering of this kind and thrown in the mix was phones and other items with ball games being broadcast.

Prayers for you and your family to have a great week and be blessed with health and happiness. Remember to pray for those who are less fortunate and take time to visit if you can or send a card or make a phone call.
