Annual 4-H Hogfest

The annual 4-H Hogfest was held on Friday, September 30, 2022. The event was a very successful one raising a significant amount of funds that will help our local children attend camps and various events hosted by the 4-H program.

This event would not have been possible without the assistance of local sponsors, City of Hohenwald, McDonald Funeral Home & Blake Farr, AHC Rehabilitation Center, Tractor Supply & Matthew Adkins, Lewis County Co-op, and Will Cummins with Frito Lay.

Another main line of support are the volunteers that helped pull the event off, including chefs Randall Hinson & Bobby Bean, maintenance crew Tommy Taylor, Cazz Crowder, & Derek Powers, and those that helped serve, Janice Bridges, Glenda Atkinson, Denise Webb, Amy Moon, and Phaedra O'Neil.

Finally, thank you to each and every one of you that came and supported us with your generous donations. It was a great day and thank you to this great community, stated Shelly Ray, FCS/4-H Extension Agent II-County Director.
