On November 20, 2022, William Thomas Carroll left this earthly world at the age of 68. Mr. Carroll was born in Lewis County on January 15, 1954, to Girdie Morrow Carroll and the late Malcolm William Carroll. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Carroll.
Mr. William is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Pam James Carroll; his sons, Keith (Dana) Carroll and Nick (Katie) Carroll; grandchildren, Tyler and Aaliyah Woodard and Gracelyn and Gauge, and Garrison Carroll. He also leaves behind to carry his memory his siblings, Betty (Doug) Williams, Malcolm (Lawanda) Carroll Jr., Bobby (Sarah) Carroll, Joe (Jennifer) Carroll, Tommy Carroll, Bill Carroll, Donnie (Julie)Carroll; sisters-in-law, Pam Carroll, Charlene (Nathan) Hensley, Charissa (Royde) Weaks; and brother-in-law, Tommy (Loree) James, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
He and his wife were members of Grace Fellowship Church in Hohenwald, and he loved his church family like his own.
William enjoyed being outdoors whenever possible. He loved riding his motorcycle or heading to his favorite fishing holes to relax. On Saturdays he was always found cheering on the Tennessee Vols Football team while spending time with his dogs, Rocco and Roxy. He loved and would do anything for his family at any time. In his free time, he loved to host family gatherings where he could show off his cooking skills.
Funeral services were held at New Hope Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, with Brothers Roger Banks, Bobby Carroll, and Josh White officiating.
