Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
November 27, 1945 ~ February 1, 2023
Danny Thomas Burcham unexpectedly passed away at his Hohenwald home on February 10, 2023. He was born in Lewis County at the Boyce Clinic on April 10, 1960, to the late Cecil Earl and Betty Louise Pope Burcham. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his stepson, Quentin Wright, and his brother, Robert Burcham.
He and his wife were members of Hohenwald Church of Christ. Danny lived his life caring for others working as an LPN for Health Angels. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family, especially his grandbabies. In his spare time, he was found piddling around with vehicles, producing beautiful pieces of art with his love of woodworking, or trying to catch the biggest catfish he could.
Danny was also very involved in the starting of the Lewis County Trap Team. He was a member of the Trap Booster Club, was involved in the making of the field and even lending a hand with coaching. He was able to show his passion for the sport through his teaching of the students.
He leaves behind to carry on his memory his wife, Kelli Hinson Burcham; his children, Jason Burcham (Sally), Jennifer Burcham, and Daniel Burcham; his three nieces he raised as his own, Jamie Burcham, Shonda Burcham, and Dawn Western; a brother, Ricky Burcham; 13 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, and his cousin who was more like a brother, Randy Stover.
Visitation with family and friends was held in the chapel of Adair Funeral & Cremation Services on Monday, February 13, 2023. A graveside service followed at Palestine Cemetery. Bro. Greg Smith officiated.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Lewis County Trap Team in his honor.
