Just when you think it is going to be like spring the temperatures dip into the thirties and was not above forty-six all day even with the sun shining. I guess we will wait a little longer for it to warm up and be nice during the day for the next several days is supposed to be cold and down below freezing during the nights. Even though it is like this the trees and shrubs along the roads and in the woods is blooming, such colors as purple which is what the red bud shows to me, and the white of the dogwoods which are beginning to bloom. I guess this is dogwood winter.

Check out the local paper each week for things going on in our area, softball, baseball, soccer and volleyball also along with many other things that children would enjoy doing. If you have a girl interested in being a Girl Scout, please contact me at 931-796-3880, also boy scout groups are active these are activities which are very good for children and many things that children can take part in are not really all that expensive.

Please keep in mind those who are confined to the nursing facilities or home and cannot get out and do things that many of us can do and call, visit or send a card if you cannot visit them. Many times these people feel left out and neglected because they think no one cares for them; a little kindness goes a long way.

Prayers for you and your family that you may be blessed with happiness and health which is some of the greatest things we can have. Spend time with your family and friends to help pass the time and do something special for one who is down on their luck.
