Local parents leave behind children after Henry County crash

Locals, long-time McDonald's Restaurant employee Patricia, lovingly known as Patty, and husband, Jason Charland, were killed in a three vehicle crash in Henry County on Friday, March 17. The couple leaves behind three boys and was pregnant with twins.

According to the THP report, a 2014 Nissan Frontier driven by Henry Walker of Tennessee, a 2023 Freightliner driven by Terrance Creech of Georgia, and the 1998 Kenworth driven by Jason Charland of Hohenwald, all collided on Highway 641 North in Henry County, Tennessee.

Charges are pending the investigation regarding Walker who was uninjured. Creech was airlifted to Memphis Trauma Center where he had a seven hour surgery to repair two broken legs, broken neck, and vertebrae in his back. Patty, Jason, and their unborn twins all lost their lives.
