Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
The Lewis County Historical Society will meet April 3, 2023 at the Senior Citizen building at 6 p.m. for the April meeting.
Jeremy Childs the park ranger from Meriwether Lewis will be doing the program telling about all the things that go on in the park and the many things that are there for people of all ages to enjoy. They have many campgrounds for all kinds of campers and their baths are considered safe for stormy weather should one be there during a stormy period. There is also a small creek there with picnic tables and the children as well as adults can enjoy the water and share the sights and all the things one sees in the small creeks around our area. There are hiking trails that are even wheel chair assessible. They also have programs where children can earn a Junior Ranger Badge, a very interesting program children of all ages. There are times when Jeremy does programs in the evening for anyone who wants to attend and these are very interesting. Please plan to attend on April 3rd and learn more about the park.
