Wanda Lee (Talley) Keeton

Wanda Lee (Talley) Keeton, 83, passed away on March 26, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 3, 1939 , to the late Cecil and Emma Jean Talley in Cross Bridges. She was married to the late Harold “Gene” Keeton on February 1, 1958, and they raised 5 kids together, until his passing on January 12, 2022.

Ms. Wanda is survived by her children, Karen (Karey) Jewell, Danny (Dora) Keeton, Don R. (Joycelyn) Keeton, Darrell R. Keeton, and Gina (Don) Gafford; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and two great, great-grandchildren, and one on the way.

Along with her husband and her parents, Ms. Keeton was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Talley.

Ms. Keeton was a devoted wife and mother who loved to cook and watch her soap operas, as well as spending time with her pug dog Missy.

Per her request, she will be cremated, and the family will have a memorial service for her at a later date.
