The Panthers hosted the Mount Pleasant Tigers in their final action of the 2023 season on Monday, April 17th.

Phenix McDonald drew the start for the Panthers and allowed a run in the first after a pair of walks and a single that put Mt. Pleasant up 1-0. Lewis County would start the home first with six-straight baserunners before an out was recorded. Phenix McDonald would draw a leadoff walk and Maddux Tanner reached on an error. Dakota Hull walked to load the bases, and a walk to D.J. Stewart plated a run. Eli Chapin singled to plate Tanner, and Rylan Hamm was hit by a pitch to bring in another. The Panthers would score four in the first to make it a 4-1 game. A pair of walks and a double would pull the tiger to within one at 4-3 moving to the home second. The score would hold until the bottom of the third when the Panthers would push a run across after three walks in the inning to go up 5-3. Rylan Hamm entered the game to pitch in the top of the fourth and was greeted by a pair of doubles after an error and the tigers tied the game at 5-5. In the bottom of the fifth the Panthers would retake the lead. Hull and Camlyn Owen each drew a walk, and both would score on balls off the bat of Chapin and Hamm and the Panthers took a 7-5 lead. Lewis County would add to their lead in the home sixth as Tanner walked and Hull tripled, followed by an error and a walk before a single from Hamm and a sacrifice fly by Brodie Unger gave the Panthers an 11-5 lead. The Tigers would add two in the final inning, but the Panthers held on for the 11-7 win.

Rylan Hamm had 2 hits and 3 RBI, Dakota Hull a triple, 4 runs, and an RBI, Eli Chapin a hit, a run, and an RBI, Phenix McDonald a run, Maddux Tanner 2 runs, Camlyn Owen 3 runs and 2 RBI, and Brodie Unger an RBI. Phenix McDonald went 3 innings, allowed 3 runs on 3 hits while walking 4 and striking out 2. Rylan Hamm went 4 innings, allowed 4 runs (1 earned) on 4 hits and struck out 2.
