Couple of the Month

I have known this couple for as long as I can remember. They are two of the sweetest people that I know. They are truly an inspiration.

Thank you both for letting our readers get to know a little bit about you both.

Q.) How long did you date before you got married?

A.) We dated for a year and a half.

Q.) When is your wedding anniversary?

A.) July 17.

Q.) What do you remember about your first date?

A.) We stopped by her church and played the piano and sang.

Q.)Wife: What is your idea of the perfect date night?

A.) Just getting in the car and driving without having an agenda - finding new places to eat and places to visit.

Q.) What do you feel is your greatest weakness?

A.) A weakness we both have is sometimes spreading ourselves too thin with things outside our marriage. When the day is over we look at each and say, oh there you are!! As long as you find your way back and say okay, now it’s time for us, that’s the main thing.

Q.) What do you feel is your greatest strength?

A.) Communication, communication, communication.

Q.) Can you both give our readers a little advice on how to keep your marriage strong?

A.) Put God first and laugh a lot, mostly at each other.

Q.) Wife: Would you say that your husband is your best friend?

A.) Yes.

Q.) Husband: Can you tell our readers something they can do as a couple to strengthen their marriage?

A.) Put God first. He has to be number one. Try to work out your problems. Don’t go to bed angry.
